The Golden Years

Part of our clubs 'rodacomerie' is the concern we have for each others well being. If you or any other Coachmen or friends are having specific health issues, surgeries, etc. please let us know, and if you'd rather maintain your privacy, we'll respect that too.
Thankfully, as far as we know, it seems all our members are staying healthy!
2020 The Year In Review
Despite the virus situation, we still had a few memorable events.
Turn the sound up!

Dale Skyles Birthday Parade
It was good to see such a good turn out of support for Dale Skyles 70th Birthday. His wife and son arranged to have a surprise birthday parade for him on Saturday, Oct. 10th. Sixteen Coachmen participated in the parade as well as numerous members from other clubs that Dale is a member of. We all drove past his house where he was sitting in his front yard. He seemed overwhelmed. We hope you had a great birthday, Dale!
Team Caleb Charity Car Show
Another successful car show for Team Caleb and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Thanks to all the Coachmen and their families that helped make this show a big success, we couldn't do it without you. We raised close to $5000.00!!
We had 131 of the best cars in the St. Louis area registered. Despite the heat, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The hall inside was air conditioned so everyone was able to cool down while checking out the silent auction items and the raffle items.
A big thank you to the VFW hall for providing great food and drink for everyone.
Car Parade at Friendship Village Retirement Home
Lou was contacted by Friendship Village Retirement Community in Sunset Hills to do a drive through parade instead of a display. It was a beautiful day and a great turnout. Coachmen that participated were Mike Mirkay, Ed Ruckenbrod, Bill Dedeke, Lou Puricelli, Stu Springer, Skip Berger, Herb and Pat Clark, Stu and Deb Langer, John and Lee Kakouris, and Bob and Kay Meckfessel. We were also joined by members of the Fords Unlimited Club, the Slick Club, the Model A Club, the Corvette Club, and John Moss and several of his friends.
Everyone was overwhelmed by the great turnout of cars. I don't know the exact number, but I believe it was over 30.

Activities Meetings
The activities commitee will meet at 10:00 AM on the last Thursday of each month at Lou's Shop - Automotive Unlimited, 210 E. Steins St. (east of Broadway and just north of Shirmer)
All members are invited to participate

In Sympathy
Thankfully, as far as we know, there is no news to report.
